Vietnam regulator fines Transimex 555 million VND for securities breaches

The State Securities Commission of Vietnam imposed a total penalty of 555 million VND on Transimex Joint Stock Company (TMS) for a series of administrative violations. The fines include 175 million VND for false information disclosure, 137.5 million VND for prohibited related‑party transactions, 92.5 million VND for delayed reporting, 85 million VND for late shareholder‑list filing, and 65 million VND for incomplete disclosure of related‑party dealings.

Separately, inspectors reported economic violations amounting to more than 44.6 trillion VND in the first six months of 2026, covering tax evasion, illegal transactions, and other breaches across various sectors. During the same period, Vietnam’s retail sales and services grew 12.9%, while total trade volume reached $549.7 billion, with exports of electronics, computers and components leading at $71.2 billion.
