Vietnam secures $100 million investment in Tây Ninh as Vingroup launches $41 billion megacity project

The provincial government of Tây Ninh led a delegation to Belgium, where it attracted more than US$100 million for a new dairy plant operated by Swiss Asia Partner. The trip also produced a memorandum of understanding with Vietnamese scholars in Belgium and Luxembourg to support research in clean energy, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

In parallel, Vingroup and its partners disclosed an environmental impact assessment for a new urban complex in Bắc Ninh province. The project, with an estimated investment of VND 41,270 billion, will cover about 269 ha and include thousands of housing units, mixed‑use high‑rise buildings and service facilities across three zones. Land acquisition and compensation are underway, with construction slated to begin after the first year of planning and continue for six years.
