Vietnam ranked 10th most loved country in 2026 world rankings

Vietnam has been ranked as the 10th most loved country in the world for 2026, according to the Readers’ Choice Awards released by the US edition of Conde Nast Traveler. With a score of 92.99 points, Vietnam surpassed both South Korea (92.98) and Thailand (92.89) in the rankings.

Japan secured the top position with 95.52 points, followed by Italy and Ireland. Vietnam's inclusion in the top 10 places it alongside major global tourism destinations such as France, Spain, and Portugal. Within Southeast Asia, four nations appeared in the top 20: Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore, with Vietnam and Cambodia both reaching the top 10.

The recognition highlights Vietnam's diverse travel experiences, ranging from the historical streets of Hanoi and the vibrant life of Ho Chi Minh City to the limestone landscapes of Ha Long Bay and the heritage sites of Hoi An and Hue. The country's culinary reputation, particularly for dishes like pho, banh mi, and Vietnamese coffee, also remains a significant draw for international visitors.
