Vietnam Social Security announces November 2026 pension payment schedule

Vietnam Social Security has released the pension and social insurance benefit payment schedule for November 2026. Payments via personal bank accounts will be distributed in two phases on November 2 and November 3, as November 1 falls on a Sunday.

Twenty-one provinces and cities, including Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Quang Ninh, and Nghe An, are scheduled to receive payments via personal accounts on November 2. Thirteen other locations, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Da Nang, will receive payments on November 3.

For those receiving benefits in cash, payments through social security agencies and post offices are expected to follow the standard practice after November 5. In Hanoi, recent data showed that over 99.65% of beneficiaries receive payments via ATM.

Additionally, Vietnam Social Security is working to integrate social security accounts with the VNeID electronic identification system. This initiative aims to allow beneficiaries to link payment methods, such as e-wallets or mobile money accounts, directly to their VNeID profiles for seamless social welfare transfers.
