Vietnam sports: HAGL eliminated from National Cup as CAHN tops V.League

Recent Vietnamese football matches have seen significant upsets and developments. In the National Cup, V.League side Hoàng Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) was eliminated after a 3-2 loss to Hưng Yên FC. Meanwhile, Đà Nẵng advanced to the National Cup round of 16 after defeating Hà Nội on penalties, highlighted by goalkeeper Bùi Tiến Dũng’s standout performance.

In basketball, Saigon Heat took a lead in the VBA finals by defeating the defending champion Hanoi Buffaloes 88-82. In volleyball, Công An TPHCM secured second place at the Dong Nai International Volleyball Championship after losing 3-1 to Cambodia’s Visakha.
