Vietnam strengthens diplomatic and youth ties with Cambodia and Finland

In Hanoi, Nguyen Kim Quy, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, met with a delegation of volunteer doctors from the Cambodian Youth Federation. Led by Leng Phaly, a Secretary of State for the Cambodian Ministry of Planning, the delegation's visit aims to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the youth and medical professionals of both nations.

Separately, Vietnam and Finland are advancing their relationship through a strategic partnership. Following over 50 years of diplomatic ties established in 1973, the two countries are deepening cooperation in politics, trade, education, and development. Economic exchange remains a priority, with bilateral trade reaching 422 million USD in 2024 and significant investments from Finnish companies like Nokia and KONE operating within Vietnam.
