Vietnam strengthens local security and national ideological foundations

In Muong Bi, the “All People Protect Fatherland Security” movement is strengthening local political security and social order through community-based self-management models. The commune has established 10 distinct models, including security camera networks, fire safety groups, and administrative reform initiatives. Additionally, 29 local security and order protection teams, consisting of 87 members, work closely with local police to monitor the area and educate citizens on law compliance.

On a national level, efforts are being intensified to protect the ideological foundation of the Party. Following Politburo resolutions, authorities are implementing synchronized measures across both physical and digital spaces to combat misinformation and hostile views. This includes large-scale political activities, such as a national essay competition organized by the Central Steering Committee 35, which saw a significant increase in participation, receiving over 905,000 entries in 2026 to promote positive information and social consensus.
