Vietnam to coordinate construction material supplies for national projects

Vietnam is implementing a plan to coordinate and support the supply of common construction materials between provinces to ensure the progress of national key projects for the 2026-2030 period.

According to reports from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, six provinces and cities—Hanoi, Hung Yen, Tay Ninh, Ca Mau, Can Tho, and Ninh Binh—are unable to balance their own supplies of common construction materials for these projects.

Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has tasked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to lead the coordination efforts. The Ministry will work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Construction, and relevant local authorities to review and assess the actual reserves of construction material mines in these areas. A decision regarding the coordination and support of these materials must be made before October 15.
