The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has announced the deployment of seven police officers to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) for 2026. During a ceremony in Hanoi, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung presented the presidential decisions to the members of Working Group No. 10.

The officers assigned to the mission include Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Anh, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trong Nguyen, Major Phan Dac Cuong, Captain Pham Phuoc Loc, Captain Bui Trung Dung, Captain Nguyen Phuong Mai, and Captain Nguyen Lan Anh.

According to the Ministry, the year 2026 will mark a significant expansion for Vietnam's peacekeeping efforts, with a total of four working groups and 25 individual officers scheduled for deployment. This represents the largest number of officers deployed by the Ministry of Public Security to date. Deputy Minister Tung noted that this expansion reflects the United Nations' recognition of the professionalism and capacity of Vietnamese police officers.
