Vietnam to host ENJOY AI Asian Open 2026 robotics competition

Vietnam is set to host the ENJOY AI Asian Open 2026, a major robotics and artificial intelligence competition. The event will take place at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac, Hanoi, and is expected to gather approximately 450 contestants from Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Mongolia, Macau, and Romania.

Organized by the Global Federation of Youth AI (FGYAI) and implemented in Vietnam by OneSpace Education under the patronage of the NIC, the competition targets children and youth aged 3 to 22. The tournament aims to foster logical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through STEM-based challenges involving programming and robotics.

In a related regional development, the first Robocon Tay Ninh competition was held in 2026. The finals featured 38 teams of middle and high school students competing to apply scientific knowledge and algorithmic thinking to robot control. The event saw high engagement, with 223 teams initially registering for the inaugural competition.
