Vietnam tourism and cultural industries see seasonal growth

Vietnam is experiencing a surge in tourism and cultural activities as the year-end season approaches. In Ho Chi Minh City, the tourism sector is leveraging favorable weather and festive atmospheres to attract both domestic and international visitors. Industry experts suggest that focusing on specialized tours involving local culture, history, and the night economy will be essential for sustainable growth.

Simultaneously, Ho Chi Minh City is seeing a rise in the music industry, with large-scale concerts acting as a driver for the urban experience economy. These events are utilizing public-private partnership models to transform cultural industries into complete economic ecosystems, blending traditional revolutionary music with modern arrangements to appeal to younger audiences.

In the coastal region, Co To is launching a tourism stimulus program for the autumn-winter 2026–2027 season. The initiative offers various service packages starting from 950,000 VND per person, covering accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing to attract travelers during the off-peak period.
