Vietnam tourism shows growth in Ninh Binh and Gia Lai

Vietnam's regional tourism sectors are showing significant development and economic growth. In Ninh Binh, the tourism industry has recorded strong performance over the first eight months of the year, welcoming nearly 20 million visitors. This resulted in a total revenue exceeding 20,600 billion VND, surpassing the annual revenue target and reaching nearly 99% of the visitor volume goal. Restaurant services accounted for the largest share of this revenue, totaling approximately 10,128 billion VND.

Meanwhile, Gia Lai province is focusing on positioning itself within the international tourism market. Local authorities are implementing a strategy to shift from simple resource exploitation to designing specialized products for international market segments. The province aims to create inter-regional travel itineraries connecting the highlands with coastal areas and focusing on cultural and community-based experiences. Key priorities include improving infrastructure, enhancing digital information services, and fostering a favorable business environment to support tourism enterprises.
