Vietnam tropical agriculture entrepreneurs target market expansion

Tropical agriculture entrepreneurs in southern Vietnam are working to overcome capital and market constraints by connecting resources to commercialize tropical produce. The goal is to reduce emissions and expand export markets through increased investment in processing technology, which adds value to raw products and helps meet international standards.

To overcome technical barriers and non-tariff hurdles in major markets, businesses are facing pressure to transition to green agriculture models, including Net Zero and circular economy standards. The Club of Tropical Agriculture Enterprises (COTAB), part of the Tropical Agriculture Research and Consulting Center, is facilitating multi-party connections to support its nearly 100 members in stabilizing supply chains and improving farmer livelihoods.
