Vietnam Women's Museum opens war history exhibition

The Vietnam Women's Museum, in collaboration with the Southern Vietnam Youth Union Alumni Association and the War Remnants Museum, has opened a thematic exhibition titled ‘Youth from the Legendary Truong Son Road to Route 1C’ in Hanoi.

The exhibition utilizes photographs, artifacts, documents, and videos to recreate the experiences of young people who lived and fought during the resistance war against the United States. It highlights the strategic Truong Son Road, a 20,000 km transport route that moved over 2 million personnel, and Route 1C, a vital artery in the Southwest region.

Organized to commemorate upcoming national milestones, including the 81st anniversary of Vietnam's National Day and the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union, the event serves as a historical return for veterans and a way to honor the sacrifices made by soldiers, youth volunteers, and medical staff who dedicated their youth to national reunification.
