Cà Mau province is aggressively pursuing economic growth through large-scale investment and infrastructure development. At the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference, the province signed memorandums of understanding with Xuan Thien Group, T&T Group, and PAGroup for projects with a combined estimated value of 439,000 billion VND. The province also issued investment certificates for various key projects totaling over 40,000 billion VND, including 10 green energy and renewable energy projects valued at over 54,597 billion VND.

In the renewable energy sector, Cà Mau is launching three wind power projects with a total capacity of 170 MW and an investment exceeding 241 million USD. These projects aim to integrate more clean energy into the national grid.

Infrastructure and social welfare remain priorities. The province has commenced a 480 billion VND river embankment project in Ganh Hao to combat erosion. Additionally, efforts are underway to expand clean water access to disadvantaged areas, with planned investments in water supply networks for the 2026-2030 period.
