Vietnam youth competitions highlight AI and robotics innovation

Student and youth competitions in Vietnam are showcasing significant advancements in artificial intelligence and robotics. The 'New Generation Student 2026' program has finalized its eight competing teams following regional selection rounds in Central and Southern Vietnam. Participating students are developing diverse projects, including AI-driven healthcare ecosystems for the elderly, such as the VieGrand AI Plus project, and various solutions utilizing biomaterials and agricultural byproducts.

Simultaneously, the ENJOY AI Vietnam 2026 season has concluded, involving nearly 2,000 students. This competition, supported by the National Innovation Center (NIC), serves as a pathway to the ENJOY AI Asian Open 2026, an international robotics tournament hosted in Vietnam. Top performers from the domestic circuit are now preparing to compete in the international finals scheduled for December 2026 in Huangdiandian, China.
