Vietnam Youth Union adopts action plan following 13th Congress resolutions

On 17 July 2024, the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union convened in Hanoi, combining in‑person and online participation. The meeting was chaired by Bùi Quang Huy, first secretary of the Union, and Nguyễn Minh Triết, standing secretary and president of the Vietnam Student Union, and was attended by senior officials including Nguyễn Tường Lâm, Nguyễn Kim Quy and Hồ Hồng Nguyên.

Delegates reviewed and refined the political report of the 13th National Congress, approved a draft Action Programme to implement the Congress’s resolutions, and examined work plans for 2026‑2027. The agenda also covered amendments to the Union’s charter and regulations, the establishment of a Youth Council for the 10th term, and strategies to strengthen ideal education, lifelong learning and youth‑development activities.
