Vietnam Youth Union boosts outreach ahead of 13th National Congress

First Secretary Bui Quang Huy of the Vietnam Youth Union announced that the 13th National Youth Union Congress will open next week. He stressed the importance of media and propaganda in publicizing the Union’s achievements, encouraging newspapers to feature exemplary youth, successful local models and the organization’s work during the upcoming high‑profile event.

In parallel, the Union and the Youth Council inaugurated the first National Children Festival in Lam Đồng on 19‑20 June 2026. The three‑day program showcased competitions, cultural performances and technology exhibitions. Bui Quang Huy presented ten "digital learning spaces" – each equipped with ten computers and a STEM bookcase – to children in ten provinces, supporting the Union’s plan to improve digital access for youth in border and disadvantaged areas.
