Vietnam Youth Union Congress Showcases Future Leaders
The 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union was held on 25 June in Hanoi. The ceremony featured eleven exemplary children from the capital as special guest delegates, highlighting the continuity between today’s youth volunteers and the next generation.
Among the young speakers, Cao Phú Quý, an eighth‑grader from Lý Thái Tổ Secondary School, remarked that speaking at the congress was a memorable milestone and called for more cultural, artistic, scientific and technological activities, as well as support for disadvantaged children. Nguyễn Trọng Gia Huy, a student from Thành Công Secondary School, said the event reinforced his resolve to pursue scientific research and urged the creation of more platforms for innovation and invention.
Organisers emphasized the role of technology exhibitions in inspiring the children and stressed the Union’s commitment to nurture responsibility, creativity and civic engagement among Vietnam’s youth.
