Vietnam Youth Union accelerates rollout of 13th Congress resolution with four priority tasks
The 13th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union (Đoàn) adopted its resolution for the 2026‑2031 term on 31 July 2024. First Secretary Bùi Quang Huy urged all levels of the Union to translate the resolution into concrete projects, products and actions without delay, stressing that its value must be measured by tangible outcomes for the country.
The Union has prepared a suite of dissemination materials—documents, answer‑books, infographics, videos and podcasts—within a month of the Congress. Four priority tasks have been identified: research, learning, thorough dissemination, and the implementation of specific projects.
Nguyễn Kim Quy, Secretary of the Union, highlighted that youth movements must be practical, deep and yield clear social impact. He announced the integration of three existing youth movements and three accompanying programs into a single, coordinated movement and program, linking youth activities to science, technology, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, environmental protection, national defence and international integration.
