Vietnamese actors expand careers into food industry

Several prominent Vietnamese actors are expanding their careers into the food and beverage industry.

Actor Quách Ngọc Tuyên, known for roles in web-dramas and the film ‘Lật mặt 7: Một điều ước’, has established multiple sushi restaurants. As of early 2026, he operates two locations in Ho Chi Minh City—one in An Lac Ward and another in Can Giuoc—as well as a restaurant in Long An. He frequently assists with service at his establishments, which offer over 50 Japanese dishes.

In Hanoi, actor Việt Anh, recognized for his roles in television series such as ‘Người phán xử’, has entered the food sector by co-founding a food company on Nguyen Huy Tuong Street. Serving as General Director, he focuses on snack foods, most notably chicken feet. Việt Anh actively promotes his brand on social media and has expressed ambitions to expand his food business into international markets.
