Vietnamese Actress Nguyễn Trúc Anh Discloses 30 kg Weight Gain Amid Career Hiatus

Nguyễn Trúc Anh, born in 1998 in Ho Chi Minh City, rose to fame after playing Hà Lan in the 2019 hit film *Mắt Biếc*, which earned about 180 billion VND and made her a prominent young face of Vietnamese cinema. She continued acting in films such as *Thiên Thần Hộ Mệnh* (2021) and became a popular model and brand ambassador.

From 2022 her public appearances dwindled, and by 2025 she confirmed a weight increase of roughly 30 kg. She attributed the change to several health problems, including endocrine disorder, joint degeneration, spinal disc issues, and prolonged medical treatment. Trúc Anh openly discussed the physical and emotional crisis she experienced during this period.
