Vietnamese actress Tú Oanh embraces retirement and gardening

Vietnamese actress Tú Oanh, born in 1968, is enjoying a peaceful retirement after leaving the Youth Theatre of Vietnam three years early in 2018. Now in her late 50s, she receives a monthly pension of nearly 7 million VND.

Since 2019, following disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Tú Oanh has dedicated her time to transforming a wasteland near the Red River into a 4,000m² garden. The space, which she personally designed, now features various vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees, alongside a small wooden house. While she employs assistance for heavy labor, she remains hands-on with planting and soil cultivation to maintain a slow-paced lifestyle.
