Vietnamese actresses pivot from entertainment to business

Vietnamese actresses Khánh My and Tăng Thanh Hà have transitioned from prominent entertainment careers to successful business ventures.

Khánh My, a former model and actress known for works such as ‘Cuối đường băng’, has largely stepped away from the spotlight to focus on real estate. She recently opened a seven-story building in central Ho Chi Minh City, which serves as a residence, office space, and serviced apartment complex. The project has been under development since 2020.

Tăng Thanh Hà, often referred to as the ‘jade girl’ of Vietnamese cinema, has spent over a decade building a career in the food and beverage (F&B) industry. Since opening her first store in Ho Chi Minh City in 2014, she has focused on specialty seafood, particularly imported crabs. Despite marrying into the wealthy Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) family through Louis Nguyễn, she has maintained an independent business path.
