Agricultural entrepreneurs in Vietnam are focusing on deep processing and high-quality standards to increase the value of local produce.

Rich Farm High-Tech Agriculture Trading Service Co., Ltd. has developed ‘Huong Moc Tra Lac Tien – La Sen’, a herbal tea product made from passionflower, lotus leaf, and stevia. The product, which aims to support relaxation and sleep, was recognized as a 3-star OCOP product in 2026. The company ensures quality by managing its own raw material areas and collaborating with local medicinal herb cooperatives.

In Dong Thap, entrepreneur Pham Truong Sanh has transitioned his family's longan orchard in Tan Thuan Dong into a deep-processing business. Moving away from selling only fresh fruit to avoid price fluctuations, Sanh's ‘Hai Cu Lao’ farm now produces dried longan and longan with lotus seeds. His approach involves shifting toward organic and environmentally friendly cultivation methods to ensure stable input quality for his processed goods.
