Vietnamese authorities prosecute TikToker and arrest public disorder suspect

Authorities in Vietnam have taken action against two individuals involved in public disorder and illegal social media activities.

In Thanh Hoa, police have prosecuted TikToker Hoang Quoc Minh, known as ‘Minh Sam Son’, for disseminating information contrary to legal regulations. Minh reportedly used his TikTok channel to broadcast violent content and dangerous ‘punishments’ during live streams to attract viewers and solicit gifts. Following an investigation, police searched his residence and seized equipment used for these broadcasts.

In Hanoi, Truong Ngoc Minh Anh, who was wanted for ‘disturbing public order’, surrendered to the Hai Ba Trung Ward Police on September 27, 2026. The individual had been under a wanted decision issued by the Hanoi Police Investigation Agency since September 17. Authorities are currently finalizing the case file for further legal processing.
