Vietnamese bank interest rates surveyed during National Day holiday

During the National Day holiday period, customers can utilize online savings services to open deposit accounts regardless of bank operating hours.

For short-term 3-month deposits, the highest interest rate surveyed is 4.75% per annum, offered by various institutions including ACB, Sacombank, Agribank, and Vietcombank.

In the 6-month category, ACB leads with 7.6% per annum, followed by Sacombank at 7.2% and Bac A Bank at 7.05%. For 9-month terms, ACB offers 7.7% while Sacombank provides 7.2%.

For the popular 12-month term, ACB maintains the highest rate at 7.8% per annum, with Sacombank at 7.5%. Notably, SCB offers a special interest rate of up to 8.7% per annum for a 13-month term.
