Vietnamese brands launch contemporary Mid-Autumn mooncake collections
Vietnamese brands are introducing new Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake collections that blend traditional cultural elements with contemporary design aesthetics.
Phuc Long has launched its 2026 collection, titled ‘Vong Nguyet Thuong Danh Tra’. The collection draws inspiration from Vietnamese cultural motifs, including woven clouds, the ‘Tu Binh’ pattern (Mai, Lan, Cuc, Truc), and traditional lanterns. The brand aims to present these heritage elements through a modern artistic lens, positioning the mooncake boxes as aesthetic highlights for family gatherings.
SweetHome Bakery has released its ‘Ket Tinh Tham Giao’ collection, featuring various themed gift boxes. Notable designs include a 30th-anniversary commemorative box that utilizes a 3D illuminated miniature stage effect, and the ‘Phu Quy’ box, which uses a multi-tiered drawer structure with red velvet and dragon patterns. Other designs include the ‘Nguyet Man Yen Quy’ box, which incorporates traditional Vietnamese architecture, and the ‘Ket Giao’ box, featuring jade green tones and natural landscapes.
