Vietnamese celebrities Diệu Hương and Đặng Thu Thảo transition to private life

Former Vietnamese entertainment figures Diệu Hương and Đặng Thu Thảo have transitioned from public life to private family roles.

Diệu Hương, a prominent actress known for VTV prime-time series such as ‘Cảnh sát hình sự’ and ‘Luật đời’, moved to California in 2019 to settle with her husband, a Vietnamese-American businessman. Since relocating, she has largely withdrawn from the arts to focus on family life and online business, while maintaining Vietnamese traditions and cuisine in her new home.

Đặng Thu Thảo, crowned Miss Vietnam in 2012, has also stepped back from the spotlight after a decade in the industry. Originally from a modest farming background in the Mekong Delta, the former beauty queen has transitioned into a private life following her marriage to a businessman, moving away from frequent media appearances.
