Vietnamese cinema represented at Busan International Film Festival

Vietnamese actors and film projects are making a significant presence at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). Actress Do Thi Hai Yen is participating in two distinct projects: the film ‘1982’, directed by Nguyen Hoang Diep, which is making its world debut in the Vision-Asia program, and ‘Ho Linh Trang Si: Bi An Mo Vua Dinh’, featured in the A Window on Asian Cinema program.

In ‘1982’, Hai Yen serves as both an actress playing the role of Thu Yen and a producer. Additionally, the Vietnamese film delegation is participating in ‘Vietnam Night’, an event designed to connect Vietnamese cinema with international partners and guests.

Actress Thuy Anh has also drawn attention at the festival, appearing on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘1982’. Her presence at the event has been noted for her engagement with the audience, including communicating in both Korean and English.
