Vietnamese cinema sees multiple film releases on September 18

Several Vietnamese films are scheduled for release on September 18, including ‘Lên hương’, ‘Vùng đất quỷ dữ’, ‘Marnie yêu dấu’, ‘Út Lan 2’ (early screening), ‘Bóng ma nhà hát’, ‘Tế nhi cải mệnh’, and ‘Yêu nhân thần thám: Kỳ án Trường An’.

The film ‘Lên hương’ has already garnered significant attention, earning 30 billion VND from early screenings held between September 11 and 13. Actress Lê Hạ Anh has received praise for her portrayal of the character Kim Ánh in the film, marking a departure from her previous roles. She noted the emotional depth of the character and the experience of working alongside veteran artists like Hồng Đào.

Other notable upcoming releases include ‘Út Lan 2’, which utilizes an early screening strategy, and ‘Bóng ma nhà hát’, a story centered on an ambitious real estate specialist attempting to revive a haunted theater.
