Vietnamese community in Canada launches Global Vietnamese Network

The Global Vietnamese Network (GVN) has been officially launched in Toronto to connect and leverage the resources of the Vietnamese diaspora in Canada. This initiative aligns with Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW of the Politburo regarding the work of Vietnamese people living abroad.

The network was initiated by three organizations: the Canada-Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, the Canada-Vietnam Cultural and Educational Council, and the Canada-Vietnam Cultural, Tourism, and Arts Association. By combining their respective strengths, the GVN aims to create a collaborative space for intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and the younger generation to share resources and preserve national cultural identity.

Moving forward, the GVN plans to prioritize annual activities such as Lunar New Year celebrations, Hung Kings' Festival, and various cultural, artistic, and sporting exchanges to strengthen the community and its role as a bridge in Vietnam-Canada relations.
