Vietnamese entertainers pursue diverse restaurant business ventures

Prominent Vietnamese entertainers have engaged in various business ventures outside of their media careers.

Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, a well-known MC, invested in The Kickin' Crab, a Cajun-style seafood restaurant in Buena Park, California. Opened in 2015 alongside other artists, the establishment serves items such as lobster, king crab, and snow crab. Ky Duyen has previously shared that she encouraged her daughter to work as a server at the family restaurant to learn the value of labor.

Similarly, MC Nguyen Khang has navigated the food and beverage industry. While known for his professional hosting career and musical talents, he previously attempted to run a seafood restaurant in Phu Quoc, which did not meet expectations. He has also engaged in street food vending in Ho Chi Minh City.
