Vietnamese financial academies launch 2026-2027 academic year

Major Vietnamese financial and banking institutions have commenced the 2026-2027 academic year with significant enrollment and scholarship announcements.

The Academy of Finance welcomed 8,415 new students across its main campus and branches in Hung Yen and Ho Chi Minh City. The institution is emphasizing digital transformation in its admissions processes and encouraging students to develop expertise to support Vietnam's emerging international financial centers in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Meanwhile, the Banking Academy celebrated its 65th anniversary by welcoming over 4,600 new students, selected from a pool of 54,000 applicants. During the opening ceremony, the State Bank of Vietnam, along with commercial banks and corporate partners, donated nearly 10 billion VND in scholarships to the academy. The institution reported academic milestones including international accreditation and improved rankings in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026.
