Vietnamese football revamps branding and adds Hưng Yên FC to V-League

The Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) unveiled a new brand identity for the V-League and all professional competitions starting in the 2026‑27 season. The redesign features a logo built around the number 8, a modern typeface and the slogan “World Game, Our Festival – Sân chơi quốc tế, lễ hội quốc gia,” aiming to modernise the sport’s image and attract a broader fan base.

Meanwhile, the club formerly known as PVF‑CAND has been transferred to Hưng Yên province, renamed Hưng Yên FC and will compete in the top‑tier V‑League for the 2026‑27 season. Coached by Nguyen Duy Dong and playing at the PVF training centre, the team finished sixth in the previous First Division and includes several promising young players such as striker Nguyen Hoàng Anh, who scored eight goals last season.
