Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics opens 2026-2027 academic year

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held its opening ceremony for the 2026-2027 academic year, attended by Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu. The new term includes over 2,800 students enrolled in advanced political theory programs, including 60 students from the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

A significant highlight of this academic year is the introduction of a new educational model described as “lecturer-student co-creation of new knowledge and values.” This method aims to shift the teaching approach from simple information delivery to a design-led, interactive process that encourages critical thinking, dialogue, and practical application.

Academy Director Doan Minh Huan emphasized that this model seeks to enhance theoretical thinking, leadership capacity, and management skills. The academy is committed to creating a democratic and modern environment where instructors guide and standardize knowledge while students engage in proactive, honest academic study to apply results to real-world practice.
