Vietnamese police assist family in reunion after 21 years

Police in Le Thuy commune, Quang Tri province, successfully assisted a family in reuniting with a man who had been missing for 21 years. The man, Tran Cong Anh, born in 1957, had lost contact with his family in Quang Binh province over two decades ago.

Following reports that Mr. Anh might be in Ho Chi Minh City, local police coordinated with relevant organizations in the city to track his whereabouts. Authorities determined that he was being cared for at a social protection center in Ho Chi Minh City. This allowed his sister, Tran Thi Bay, to locate and bring him back to his hometown.
