Vietnamese police conduct residency and drug prevention inspections

Police in Vietnam are intensifying inspections related to residency management and drug prevention to maintain local security and order. In Duong Hoa commune, authorities have increased checks on lodging facilities and boarding houses, specifically targeting areas with high numbers of migrant workers and maritime laborers to ensure proper residency registration and identify potential drug-related activities.

In a separate operation in Ro Koi commune, Quang Ngai province, police conducted surprise drug tests on 55 workers at a high-tech livestock farm owned by T.T.T. Joint Stock Company. All 55 individuals tested negative for illegal substances. These inspections are part of a broader initiative to promote safe working environments and ensure compliance with drug prevention laws within industrial and agricultural sectors.
