Vietnamese rapper Đen Vâu releases silent MV “Mùa hè 26”

On the night of 2 August, Vietnamese rapper Đen Vâu quietly released a new music video titled “Mùa hè 26”. The launch had no teaser, countdown or promotional campaign; the artist simply posted a photo with a link on his social‑media accounts. In his caption he wrote, “Mùa hè 26, một cái tên vô định. Tôi chẳng có ý định gì với bài hát này,” explaining that the song was written during quiet summer days as a personal reflection.

The track features indie artist Pink Frog, whose style blends alternative, electronic and ambient sounds. The four‑minute video shows simple, everyday scenes—drinking tea, sitting under trees, watching sunsets—emphasising introspection rather than the high‑energy rap and social commentary Đen is known for.
