Vietnamese seafood and food businesses expand international trade presence

Vietnamese enterprises are increasing their presence at major international trade exhibitions to expand global market reach. At the upcoming Vietnam Foodexpo 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, 30 Malaysian companies, including 20 from Penang, will participate to seek potential partners and trade opportunities. The delegation includes government representatives from Penang, led by YB Goh Chhon Aik, marking a significant increase in trade cooperation between Malaysia and Vietnam.

In China, KLC Seafood is showcasing live Vietnamese green lobsters at the China Fisheries and Seafood Expo 2026 in Qingdao. The event features over 1,600 enterprises from more than 50 countries. KLC Seafood aims to demonstrate its supply chain capabilities, from farming to export, to connect with international importers and distributors in the global seafood market.
