Vietnamese singer Bảo Thy celebrated as “Princess Bubble” for nearly 20 years

Bảo Thy, whose birth name is Trần Thị Thúy Loan, was born in 1988 in Ho Chi Minh City. She first entered the public eye after competing in the Miss Audition contest in 2006, where her performances of "10 Minutes" and "Please Tell Me Why" garnered widespread attention.

The song "Công chúa bong bóng" ("Princess Bubble") became a late‑2000s hit, giving the singer the enduring nickname that fans continue to use across television appearances, online, and live performances. The track’s catchy melody and sweet, youthful image cemented her status as an icon for the 2000s‑generation (8X, 9X) audience.

Following the breakthrough, Bảo Thy released a string of popular songs such as "Sorry", "Vẫn ngỡ như là", "Xin đừng xát muối trái tim em", "Ngôi nhà hoa hồng" and "Ký ức của mưa", and she also acted in films like "Công chúa teen và ngũ hổ tướng" and served as a TV MC. After a period of reduced activity, she returned to the spotlight in 2016 with "The Remix" and later focused on family life. In 2019 she married businessman Phan Lĩnh, describing the relationship as making her feel like a real‑life princess.
