Vietnamese singer Chi Pu invited to China's Weibo Gala 2026

Vietnamese pop star Chi Pu has become the first artist from Vietnam to receive an invitation to the Weibo Cultural Communication Night (Weibo Gala) 2026, a high‑profile Asian cultural event organized by the Chinese social platform Weibo.

Chinese media outlets such as Sina, Sohu and Elle China have repeatedly praised her appearance, calling her the top Vietnamese beauty and highlighting her stage presence, fashion sense and ability to engage audiences. She has performed on major Chinese programmes including Hunan TV’s New Year’s gala and taken part in events like Xuân Vãn, A Delicious Guess, Hello Saturday and the Asian Youth Music Festival.

Chi Pu’s rise in the Chinese market began with her participation in the 2023 talent show Đạp Gió, where she became the first Vietnamese artist to join the competition’s final troupe. Her sustained visibility is seen as strengthening cultural ties between Vietnam and China.
