Vietnamese veteran artists Lê Vi and Kim Cương garner attention
Vietnamese veteran artists have recently been the focus of cultural interest. NSƯT Lê Vi, born in 1967, has garnered attention for her enduring youthful appearance and graceful presence, which fans note remains sophisticated despite her approaching 60s.
In a separate gathering, NSND Ngọc Giàu and NSND Lê Thiện visited NSND Kim Cương. Despite being nearly 100 years old, Kim Cương remains healthy and mentally sharp. During the visit, Ngọc Giàu expressed sympathy for artist Phượng Liên, who is currently living alone in the United States and has struggled to maintain her vocal strength for Vọng cổ performances.
Kim Cương, a foundational figure in Southern Vietnamese theater and founder of the Kim Cương drama troupe, continues to be celebrated for her profound acting and her dedication to charitable work for underprivileged artists and children.
