Vietnamese veteran artists Ngoc Giau and Thu Ha have been highlighted for their enduring legacies and career histories.

Director Tran Thanh has expressed profound respect for NSND Ngoc Giau, referring to her as a ‘treasure of Vietnam’. He praised her professional dedication, noting her ability to memorize scripts late into the night even at her advanced age. Her popularity remains significant, with reports of audiences showing intense admiration during live performances.

NSND Thu Ha, a prominent figure in 1990s Vietnamese cinema, shared reflections on her early career. She recalled her beginnings as a model for calendar photography while serving in the Military Region 2 Art Troupe. At age 18, her compensation for modeling was not monetary, but rather five printed calendars to distribute to friends and relatives.
