Vietnam‑Nordic Trade Ties Deepen at Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2025

A delegation of Nordic businesses, organised by the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden, attended the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2025 (VIS 2025). The two‑week programme enabled firms such as H&M, IKEA and the Port of Gothenburg to meet Vietnamese suppliers, logistics providers and government agencies, resulting in memoranda of understanding on green logistics, direct maritime routes and renewable‑material sourcing.

The visits broadened cooperation beyond traditional trade, covering supply‑chain development, investment, digital transformation and sustainable production. Swedish importers also expanded food‑product imports, showcasing items from cassava to specialty rice, highlighting the expo’s role in cementing Vietnam‑Nordic commercial links.
