Vietnam's 13th Youth Union Congress features Miss Vietnam 2024 and student speaker

The 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hanoi concluded on 27 June with a concert at the My Đình F1 racetrack organized by the Tiền Phong newspaper. The event, attended by about 20,000 spectators, showcased Miss Vietnam 2024 Hà Trúc Linh in a layered pastel‑pink gown alongside other titleholders from the 2024 pageant, celebrating the spirit of Vietnamese youth.

During the same congress, 13‑year‑old Cao Phú Quý, an 8th‑grade student from Hanoi, addressed the assembly on behalf of Vietnamese children. He praised the support of the Youth Union, called for more scientific and creative activities for youngsters, and expressed his personal ambition to become a knowledgeable artist. His remarks highlighted the importance of education, technology, and cultural participation for the next generation.

Both segments emphasized the role of the Youth Union in promoting cultural pride, artistic expression, and civic responsibility among Vietnam's younger population.
