Vietnam's 14th Central Committee passes resolutions on Party building and governance

The 4th Plenum of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam has concluded, passing several key resolutions aimed at strengthening the political system. The committee approved a resolution on enhancing the construction and rectification of the Party and the political system to ensure they remain clean and strong, meeting the requirements of the country’s development in a new era.

Additionally, the Plenum passed a resolution to continue innovating and perfecting the Party’s methods of leadership and governance. This includes improving national governance, enhancing organizational capacity, and strictly controlling power while intensifying efforts to combat corruption, waste, and bureaucracy. The resolutions emphasize the importance of political responsibility, integrity, and the exemplary role of leaders.

In Quang Ninh, the outcomes of the Central Committee meeting are expected to provide momentum for local economic goals. The province is targeting a GRDP growth rate of over 13% for 2026, supported by initiatives to accelerate public investment disbursement, complete land clearance for projects, and expand industrial and logistics infrastructure.
