Vietnam's Bui Van Manh Wins Additional Nearly 1bn VND Lottery Prize Days After 83bn Jackpot
Bui Van Manh, a 1981‑born resident of Ho Binh now living in Ben Cat, Ho Chi Minh City, became the owner of Vietlott's Jackpot 1 prize worth over 83.5 billion VND. Shortly after the Southern Vietnam draw on 18 June, he claimed another windfall when he won 30 first‑prize tickets in a Binh Thuan government‑run lottery, each ticket valued at 30 million VND, bringing the total prize to roughly 900 million VND.
Unlike many large‑prize winners who keep their identities private, Manh appeared publicly to receive the winnings, sparking considerable discussion on social media. Officials note that each lottery draw is independent, so earlier success does not affect later odds.
