Vietnam's FPT Becomes OpenAI Select Partner to Tap $240 bn Cybersecurity Market

Vietnamese technology group FPT has been named an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network. The partnership will enable FPT to help global enterprises accelerate AI adoption, especially in cybersecurity, by integrating OpenAI’s frontier models such as GPT‑5.6 and Codex Security into its platforms and the "Patch the Enterprise" vulnerability‑remediation programme.

FPT Executive Vice President Pham Minh Tuan said the collaboration aims to optimise AI operating costs through efficient token usage and to deliver AI‑driven solutions that protect IT infrastructure from emerging AI‑related risks. The joint effort targets the fast‑growing cybersecurity services market, estimated at roughly $240 billion worldwide.

Through the partnership, FPT plans to expand the use of OpenAI technologies across its AI ecosystem, develop agentic AI solutions for enterprise workflows, and redesign operations around human‑AI collaboration.
