Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City economics universities expand global study pathways

Students of the University of Economics – Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) have undertaken study, internship and work experiences in nearly 20 countries, including South Korea, Japan, Singapore, the United States and Russia. Programs highlighted include a month‑long summer university in Busan, a recent Summer University stint at Russia’s Ural Federal University, participation in a medical‑technology hackathon, and long‑term internships in Japan lasting six to twelve months.

The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and its Institute of Business (ISB) have deepened ties with six Australian universities—University of Wollongong, Monash University, Macquarie University and others—under the UEH 50+ Global Partners in 5 Continents initiative marking UEH’s 50th anniversary. The discussions focused on expanding Global Pathways programmes, student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and participation in Australia’s New Colombo Plan, aiming to give Vietnamese students broader international exposure and skill development.
